One-to-one Workshop
The Christian Inner Child Healing Workshop offers a structured and contemplative approach to emotional healing and spiritual restoration through the teachings and presence of Christ. Rooted in established Inner Child therapeutic principles, the workshop combines psychological insight, emotional awareness, and contemplative Christian practice within a guided learning environment focused on practical understanding and long-term integration.
Across a series of one-to-one sessions, participants are introduced to the core foundations of Inner Child work, including developmental theory, emotional pattern recognition, attachment dynamics, reparenting principles, and guided inner reflection. The workshop helps individuals understand how early relational experiences continue shaping emotional responses, self-perception, relationships, and spiritual life throughout adulthood.
Alongside theory and discussion, participants are guided through practical exercises that develop emotional awareness, inner dialogue, grounding skills, reflective journaling, contemplative meditation, and compassionate witnessing of the self. Over time, these practices support a deeper capacity for emotional steadiness, self-understanding, spiritual connection, and restorative relationship with the inner life through Christ-centred healing.

Workshop Experience
The workshop unfolds across a series of guided one-to-one sessions that combine practical learning with reflective inner work. Participants are introduced to the foundations of Inner Child healing through developmental theory, emotional pattern recognition, attachment awareness, contemplative practice, and guided meditative exercises. Each session builds gradually upon the last, helping individuals develop a clearer understanding of how early experiences continue shaping emotional life, relationships, and spiritual connection in adulthood.
Alongside the theoretical framework, the workshop focuses on practical integration. Through journaling, guided reflection, emotional awareness exercises, grounding practices, and Inner Child meditations, participants begin developing the skills needed to build a more compassionate and attentive relationship with themselves. Many people experience greater emotional clarity, steadiness, self-understanding, and a renewed sense of connection with God as the work deepens over time.
As the workshop progresses, participants often begin recognising recurring emotional patterns and protective behaviours that were formed earlier in life through experiences of fear, shame, criticism, rejection, emotional absence, or instability. Bringing awareness to these patterns allows the individual to respond to themselves with greater honesty, patience, and compassion rather than remaining shaped by unconscious emotional reactions.
The workshop also explores the relationship between emotional healing and spiritual life. Early relational experiences frequently influence the way people understand trust, belonging, grace, intimacy, and the character of God. Through contemplative Christian practice and Inner Child work, many participants discover a deeper sense of emotional integration, spiritual openness, and internal peace as wounded places within the heart are gradually brought into relationship with truth, compassion, and the restoring presence of Christ.
Why do people choose this workshop?
People are often drawn to this work through a desire for deeper emotional understanding, spiritual renewal, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves. Many recognise recurring patterns within their lives such as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, relational difficulty, disconnection, or a persistent sense of inner exhaustion, and begin seeking a path of healing that brings together emotional insight and Christian spirituality in a grounded and meaningful way.
Others come to the workshop during periods of transition, grief, burnout, relational change, or spiritual searching. Some are exploring childhood experiences and attachment patterns for the first time, while others already work within counselling, ministry, mentoring, or contemplative practice and wish to deepen their understanding of the inner life through a Christ-centred lens.
Participants often describe the workshop as a space that helps them slow down, reconnect with themselves honestly, and begin approaching hidden wounds with greater compassion and clarity. Through the process, many experience a growing sense of emotional steadiness, healthier boundaries, renewed spiritual openness, and a deeper capacity for trust, presence, and inner peace.
Who is this workshop for?
The workshop is open to both those new to inner healing work and individuals already engaged in counselling, ministry, therapy, spiritual direction, or contemplative practice. Each person’s journey unfolds differently, shaped by their own history, emotional life, and relationship with faith.
